Zenéy Van Der Walt

Zeney Geldenhuys, formerly known as Zeney van der Walt, is a South African athlete born on May 22, 2000. She competes in hurdling and sprinting, specializing in the 400 metres hurdles and 400 metres.

Geldenhuys is the 2022 African Champion in the 400 metres hurdles and also won African gold in the 4x400 metres relay with the South African women's team. She previously won gold at both the 2017 World U18 Championships and 2018 World U20 Championships, and claimed silver at the 2019 Universiade.

As an African champion and multiple age-group world champion, Geldenhuys represents South African excellence in hurdles events. Her progression from youth world titles to senior African championships demonstrates her development into one of Africa's premier 400 metres hurdlers.
