Monica Amboya is a Ecuador middle-distance runner, born on July 9, 1982. He competes primarily in the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m.

His personal bests include 4:27.22 in the 1500m, 9:33.72 in the 3000m, 17:15.81 in the 5000m and 10:11.98 in the 3000mSt. He has earned 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Ecuador.
