Tony Barton

Orrin Anthony Barton is an American retired high jumper born on October 17, 1969, in Washington, D.C. At his peak, he was ranked third in the world and number one in the United States.

Barton won the 1993 Summer Universiade and the bronze medal at the 1995 World Indoor Championships. He finished fifth at the 1992 World Cup, eighth at the 1993 World Championships, and seventh at the 1995 World Championships.

His personal best of 2.32 metres was achieved in June 1992 in New Orleans. He also demonstrated versatility with an 8.16 metre long jump, showing his all-around athletic ability.
