
Renny Quow
Renny Quow is a Trinidadian track and field sprinter born on August 25, 1987, in Tobago, who specializes in the 400 metres. He is the only quarter-miler from Trinidad and Tobago to reach every major 400m final including the Olympics, World Championships, World Juniors, CAC Championships, CARIFTA, and Commonwealth Games.
Quow attended South Plains College in Levelland, Texas, becoming the most successful quarter-miler in the college's history before turning professional with Adidas. His personal best of 44.53 seconds was achieved at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, where he reached the final, a rare achievement for Caribbean 400m runners.
He has medalled in every major junior and senior championship outside the Olympic Games, making him the most decorated 400m runner to emerge from Trinidad and Tobago. His consistency and big-race performances have cemented his legacy in Caribbean athletics.
