Randy Heisler

Randall Heisler is an American former discus thrower born on August 7, 1961. Standing 190 cm and weighing 111 kg, he competed at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and later built a successful coaching career.

Heisler developed into an Olympic-caliber discus thrower capable of representing the United States at the 1988 Summer Games in Seoul, South Korea. His competitive experience provided the foundation for his transition into coaching.

After his competitive career, Heisler served as head track and field coach at Indiana University before becoming head coach at Ball State University, where he coached until 2015. His decades-long coaching career has helped develop numerous athletes in the throwing events.
