Mike Hazle

Mike Hazle is an American javelin thrower born on March 22, 1979, in Conroe, Texas. Standing 183 cm and weighing 91 kg, he is a United States Olympian, national champion, and former Air Force Special Operations Combat Controller.

Hazle earned four consecutive silver medals at the U.S. outdoor championships from 2007 to 2010 before claiming his first National Championship in 2011. He also won a silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro. His military service with the Air Force Special Operations Command demonstrated his dedication beyond athletics.
