Vital Gahungu

Vital Gahungu is a Burundi long-distance runner, born on January 1, 1969. He competes primarily in the 3000m, 5000m and 10000m.

His personal bests include 8:04.15 in the 3000m, 13:38.19 in the 5000m, 29:04.60 in the 10000m, 1:02:06 in the Semi and 14:21 in the 5Kilometre. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Burundi.
