Vasiliy Matveyev

Vasiliy Matveyev is a URS middle-distance runner, born on February 4, 1962 in Obukhovo, Russia. He competes primarily in the 800m, 1500m and 1000m.

His personal bests include 1:44.25 in the 800m, 3:38.1h in the 1500m, 2:21.28 in the 1000m, 2:21.28 in the 1000Metres and 7:07.40 in the 4x800Metre. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing URS.
