Toshinari Takaoka

Toshinari Takaoka is a Japan middle-distance runner, born on September 24, 1970 in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. He competes primarily in the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m.

His personal bests include 3:40.20 in the 1500m, 7:41.87 in the 3000m, 13:13.40 in the 5000m, 27:35.09 in the 10000m and 1:01:07 in the Semi. He has earned 6 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Japan.
