Nikolay Atanasov is a Bulgaria sprinter, born on December 11, 1974 in Botevgrad, Bulgaria. Standing 1.87 m and weighing 75 kg, He competes primarily in the 100m, 200m and 400m.

His personal bests include 10.79 in the 100m, 21.34 in the 200m, 47.74 in the 400m, 8.31 in the LJ and 15.62 in the TJ. He has earned 21 gold medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Bulgaria.
