Nelli Cooman is a Netherlands sprinter, born on June 6, 1964 in Paramaribo, Suriname. Standing 1.60 m and weighing 62 kg, She competes primarily in the 100m, 4x100m and 60m.

Her personal bests include 11.08 in the 100m, 43.48 in the 4x100m, 7.00 in the 60m, 6.19 in the 50Metres and 6.65 in the 55m. She has earned 8 gold and 4 bronze medals in major international competitions. She is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Netherlands.
