Mohamed Seghaier

Mohamed Sghaier is a Tunisian hurdler born on July 18, 1988, in Sousse, who competes in the 400 metres hurdles. He holds the Tunisian national record in the event.

Sghaier competed at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, though he was disqualified in the first round of the 400 metres hurdles. Despite this setback, he has established himself as Tunisia's premier long hurdler.

His personal best and national record of 49.22 seconds was set in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 2015, breaking the previous Tunisian standard. This time ranks him among the top African 400m hurdlers of his generation.
