LaMark Carter is an American former triple jumper born on August 23, 1970, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Standing 180 cm tall and weighing 75 kg, his personal best was 17.44 metres achieved in June 1998 in New Orleans.
Carter won silver at both the 1999 World Indoor Championships and 1999 Pan American Games. He was a three-time national champion in 1998, 1999, and 2001. He made the 2000 Olympic team but did not medal in Sydney. At the 2004 Olympic Trials, he tested positive for salbutamol.
A graduate of Captain Shreve High School who competed for Northwestern State, Carter holds the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix triple jump record of 16.93 metres from 1998.
