José Alberto Cairo Sánchez

José Alberto Cairo Sánchez is a CUB middle-distance runner, born on September 2, 1986. He competes primarily in the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m.

His personal bests include 3:45.13 in the 1500m, 8:13.63 in the 3000m, 14:23.73 in the 5000m and 8:26.16 in the 3000mSt. He has earned 9 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing CUB.
