João Vieira

João Vieira is a Portugal long-distance runner, born on February 20, 1976. He competes primarily in the 5000m, 20kmW and 35kmW.

His personal bests include 14:58.09 in the 5000m, 1:20:09 in the 20kmW, 2:31:41 in the 35kmW, 3:45:17 in the 50kmW and 21:10 in the 5Kilometre. He has earned 48 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Portugal.
