Irene Jelagat

Irene Jelagat is a Kenya middle-distance runner, born on December 10, 1988. She competes primarily in the 800m, 1500m and 3000m.

Her personal bests include 2:02.99 in the 800m, 4:02.59 in the 1500m, 8:28.51 in the 3000m, 14:55.49 in the 5000m and 4:05.17 in the 1500Metres. She has earned 4 gold medals in major international competitions. She is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Kenya.
