Gabriela Szabo is a Romania middle-distance runner, born on November 14, 1975 in Bistrița, Romania. Standing 1.58 m and weighing 40 kg, She competes primarily in the 1500m, Mile and 3000m.

Her personal bests include 3:56.97 in the 1500m, 4:19.30 in the Mile, 8:21.42 in the 3000m, 14:31.48 in the 5000m and 4:03.23 in the 1500Metres. She has earned 35 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze medals in major international competitions. She is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Romania.
