Cathal Lombard is a IRL long-distance runner, born on February 12, 1976. He competes primarily in the 3000m, 5000m and 10000m.

His personal bests include 8:22.6h in the 3000m, 13:19.22 in the 5000m, 27:33.53 in the 10000m, 2:29:20 in the Marathon and 13:49 in the 5Kilometre. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing IRL.
