Brian Brown

Brian Brown is an American former high jumper born on January 9, 1967, in New Iberia, Louisiana. His career best of 2.34 metres made him one of America's top high jumpers in the late 1980s and 1990s.

Brown won the 1989 USA Outdoor Championships and the 1990 NCAA Indoor Division I title. He represented the United States at three world-level competitions: the 1989 IAAF World Cup, 1997 World Indoor Championships, and 1999 World Championships. He won bronze at the 1998 Goodwill Games.

After retiring, Brown became a coach at Drake University and the University of Missouri, working alongside his wife Natasha Kaiser-Brown. His transition to coaching allowed him to pass on his expertise to the next generation of jumpers.
