Álvaro Contreras

Álvaro Contreras is a Spain sprinter, born on January 27, 1982. He competes primarily in the 100m, 400m and 1500m.

His personal bests include 11.03 in the 100m, 48.36 in the 400m, 4:17.68 in the 1500m, 15.45 in the 110mH and 2.15 in the HJ. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Spain.
