Serhiy Smelyk

Serhiy Smelyk is a Ukrainian sprinter born on April 19, 1987, in Krasnodon. Standing 178 cm tall and weighing 72 kg, he has established himself as one of Ukraine's premier sprinters.

Smelyk won the bronze medal in the 200 metres at the 2014 European Championships in Zurich, demonstrating his ability to compete with Europe's best. His personal bests include 10.10 seconds in the 100 metres, achieved in Erzurum in 2016, and 20.30 seconds in the 200 metres, set in Zurich in 2014.

His European Championships medal represents one of the highlights of Ukrainian sprinting in recent years, establishing him as a key figure in his country's sprint program.
