Adam Setliff is an American former discus thrower born on December 15, 1969, in El Dorado, Arkansas. Standing 193 cm and weighing 125 kg, he represented the United States at two consecutive Summer Olympics, finishing 12th in 1996 and 5th in 2000. His personal best of 69.44 metres was set on July 21, 2001, in La Jolla.

Setliff attended four high schools, winning the 1988 Texas Class 5A state title at L.D. Bell High School while becoming the nation's top prep thrower and breaking Michael Carter's state record. After two years at Rice University, he transferred to the University of Washington and placed fifth at the 1993 NCAA Championships. He trained under Olympic champion Mac Wilkins and portrayed Wilkins in the 1998 film Without Limits.

Setliff won the 2000 Olympic Trials to qualify for his second Olympics. During an injury layoff in 1999, he wrote a screenplay. He retired before 2004 and now lives in Dallas, Texas, practicing real estate law while running a title agency.
