Abdelati El Guesse

Abdelati El Guesse is a Moroccan middle-distance runner born on February 27, 1993, in Marrakesh. Standing 187 cm tall and weighing 64 kg, he competes primarily in the 800 metres and has represented Morocco at both the Olympic Games and World Championships.

El Guesse represented Morocco at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing and competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the men's 800 metres. He won the silver medal at the 2015 Summer Universiade. His personal best in the 800 metres is 1:44.84, set in Tokyo in 2021.

As an Olympic competitor and World Championships representative, El Guesse has established himself among Morocco's top middle-distance runners. His personal best under 1:45 places him among the faster 800m runners in African and international competition.
