
Rhoda Njobvu
Rhoda Njobvu is a Zambian sprinter born on January 29, 1994, in Lusaka. She is sponsored by ZNS and specializes in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay events, representing Zambia at major international competitions.
Njobvu has competed at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, 2016 and 2018 African Championships, winning bronze in the 4x400m relay at the 2018 African Championships with a national record time of 3:38.18. In 2021, she achieved a personal best of 11.12 seconds in the 100m, briefly sharing the world-leading time. She set the Zambian 200m record of 22.69 seconds, qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in both events, and reached the 200m semifinals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
