Eliana Arruada Bandeira is a shot putter born on July 1, 1996, in Brazil. She now represents Portugal internationally and has achieved success at multiple levels of competition including the Olympic Games.

Bandeira won silver at the 2021 World University Games (held in 2023) and became University World Champion in China in 2023. She won bronze at the 2024 European Cup and claimed the Ibero-American Championship title in 2024. She reached the semifinals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, competing at the highest level of the sport.

As an Olympic semifinalist, University World Champion, and Ibero-American champion, Bandeira has established herself among Europe's top shot putters. Her progression to Olympic-level competition while representing Portugal demonstrates her development into an elite-level thrower.
