Brian Stanton

Brian Stanton is an American high jumper born on February 19, 1961. He competed at the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics, representing the United States in the high jump event.

Stanton attended the University of Houston, where he developed his high jumping ability to Olympic-qualifying level. During his junior year at Houston, he also appeared on the television game show The Price is Right.

His Olympic appearance in 1988 represented the pinnacle of his athletic career. Qualifying for the Olympics required clearing heights among the best in American high jumping, demonstrating Stanton's standing among the nation's elite vertical jumpers.
