Tom Pukstys

Tom Pukstys is an American former javelin thrower born on May 28, 1968, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Standing 188 cm and weighing 98 kg, he was a six-time U.S. javelin champion and one of America's premier throwers of his era.

Pukstys represented the United States at two consecutive Summer Olympics, competing in 1992 and 1996. His six national titles demonstrated remarkable consistency and dominance in the American javelin ranks throughout the 1990s.

His Olympic appearances and unprecedented run of national championships established Pukstys as one of the most accomplished American javelin throwers in history. The combination of longevity and success at the domestic level reflected his dedication to mastering the technically demanding event.
