Anthony Famiglietti is an American distance runner born on November 8, 1978, in Medford, Massachusetts. He has competed in the 3000 metre steeplechase at two Olympic Games, representing the United States in 2004 and 2008.

Famiglietti has competed in events ranging from the 1500 metres to the 10,000 metres. He gained recognition for training alone in New York City for many years before relocating to Davidson, North Carolina. In December 2019, he ran a world record treadmill mile of 3:55, becoming the first person to record a sub-4-minute mile on a treadmill. He followed this with a world record treadmill two-mile of 8:24 in January 2020.

He is the subject of the independent documentary "Run Reckless," released at the Running Movie Festival in Eugene, Oregon. Famiglietti has competed professionally for Skechers Performance and Reckless Running, continuing to push the boundaries of distance running into his forties.
