Torrance Zellner

Torrance Zellner is an American track and field athlete born on January 6, 1970, in Baltimore, Maryland. He specialized in the 400 metre hurdles and achieved a personal best of 48.18 seconds in August 1996 in Zurich.

Zellner won bronze medals in the 400 metre hurdles at both the 1991 and 1999 Pan American Games, demonstrating remarkable longevity at the international level over an eight-year span. At the 1999 Pan American Games, he added a bronze in the 4x400m relay. He finished eighth at the 1999 World Championships in Seville.

His ability to medal at Pan American Games eight years apart reflects exceptional durability in one of track's most demanding events. Zellner's consistency in the 400-metre hurdles established him among America's top performers in the event throughout the 1990s.
