Rafeeq Curry is an American triple jumper born on August 19, 1983, in Miami, Florida. He became a 2008 Olympian after an outstanding collegiate and post-collegiate career that included six Atlantic Coast Conference titles and nine All-American honors.

Curry's athletic achievements span multiple levels of competition. As a member of the Florida State Seminoles, he won the 2006 NCAA outdoor triple jump championship and still holds FSU's indoor and outdoor records in the event. His personal best of 17.22 meters came at the NCAA East Regional Meet. On the national scene, he claimed the 2011 USA Indoor Championship and earned his Olympic berth by finishing third at the 2008 Olympic Trials with a jump of 17.21 meters.

At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Curry competed alongside teammates Aarik Wilson and Kenta Bell. He achieved 16.88 meters on his third attempt but finished nineteenth in the qualifying rounds, falling short of the final. Despite this result, his journey to the Olympics and his extensive collection of collegiate and national titles established him as a prominent figure in American triple jumping.
