Chao Chih-Kuo is a retired Taiwanese long jumper born on December 9, 1972. He was one of Taiwan's most accomplished horizontal jumpers during the 1990s, establishing himself as a consistent performer on the Asian athletics circuit.

Chao won silver medals at both the 1993 and 1995 Asian Championships, demonstrating his ability to compete at the continental level. He represented Taiwan at the 1995 World Indoor Championships, the 1995 World Championships, and the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, as well as the 1998 Asian Games. He also finished eleventh at the 1995 Summer Universiade.

His personal best of 8.16 metres was achieved on May 6, 1995, at the 39th Penghu County Athletics Championships. This mark stood as one of the best long jump performances by a Taiwanese athlete during his competitive era.
