Wendell Williams

Wendell Williams is a retired track and field athlete from Trinidad and Tobago born on October 19, 1968, who specialized in the long jump. He represented his country at the highest level of international competition.

Williams competed at the 1993 World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany, which proved to be a turning point in his life. Following the competition, he moved to Berlin, Germany for what was intended to be a six-month training stint but eventually stayed for more than seven years.
