Pascal Dobert is an American steeplechase runner born on April 8, 1974, in Washington, D.C. Standing 185 cm and weighing 68 kg, he won the 1997 NCAA Division I Championship in the steeplechase while competing for the University of Wisconsin.

Dobert achieved his personal best of 8:15.77 minutes in July 2000 in Sacramento at the U.S. Olympic Trials. He finished seventh at the 1998 IAAF World Cup and competed at both the 1999 World Championships and 2000 Sydney Olympics, though he did not reach the final at either championship.

After retiring from competition, Dobert transitioned into coaching. He has served as assistant coach to Jerry Schumacher for the Bowerman Track Club, one of America's premier distance running groups. His journey from NCAA champion to elite-level coach demonstrates the valuable contributions former athletes make to developing the next generation of runners.
