Jonathan Matthews is a United States race walker, born on July 2, 1956. He competes primarily in the 20kmW, 50kmW and 5000Metres.

His personal bests include 1:30:38 in the 20kmW, 4:02:52 in the 50kmW, 20:43.20 in the 5000Metres, 1:43:22.82 in the 20,000Metr and 2:32:43 in the 30Kilometr. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing United States.
