Cristian Nápoles

Cristian Atanay Napoles is a Cuban triple jumper born on November 27, 1998, in Marianao. Standing 181 cm tall, he has developed into one of the world's premier triple jumpers with a personal best of 17.38 metres set in Doha in 2019.

Napoles has achieved remarkable success at every age level of competition. He won gold at the 2015 World Youth Championships and silver at the 2016 World U20 Championships.

At the senior level, he narrowly missed the bronze at the 2017 World Championships by just four centimetres before finally claiming the bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships. He also competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. As Cuba's leading triple jumper, Napoles continues the country's proud tradition of excellence in horizontal jumps. His progression from youth champion to World Championships medalist demonstrates his consistency at the highest level of the sport.
