Aleksey Sokirskiy

Aleksey Sokirskiy is a hammer thrower born on March 16, 1985, in Horlivka, Ukraine. Standing 185 cm tall and weighing 108 kg, he competed for Ukraine until 2015 before becoming a Russian citizen.

Sokirskiy achieved his personal best of 76.96 metres on June 19, 2011, in Stockholm. His career has spanned two national federations following his switch from Ukraine to Russia in 2015.
