Lena Urbaniak

Lena Urbaniak (born 31 October 1992 in Schwäbisch Gmünd) is a German athlete specialising in the shot put.

She won the gold medal at the 2015 Summer Universiade. Her personal bests in the event are 18.02 metres outdoors (Kassel 2016) and 18.32 metres indoors (Karlsruhe 2016).

In her youth, she also competed in gymnastics, handball and karate. Their achievements in athletics have contributed to their country's sporting legacy and demonstrate the dedication required to compete at the highest levels of track and field.
