Joshua Cheptegei

Joshua Cheptegei is a Uganda middle-distance runner, born on September 12, 1996 in Kapchorwa District, Uganda. Standing 1.79 m and weighing 61 kg, He competes primarily in the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m.

His personal bests include 3:37.36 in the 1500m, 7:33.24 in the 3000m, 12:35.36 in the 5000m, 26:11.00 in the 10000m and 59:21 in the Semi. He has earned 20 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Uganda.
