Jeff Henderson

Jeff Henderson is an American long jumper born on February 19, 1989, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Standing 183 cm and weighing 81 kg, he won Olympic gold at the 2016 Rio Games, giving the United States its first long jump gold since 2004.

Henderson's personal best of 8.52 metres came while winning gold at the 2015 Pan American Games. At the Rio Olympics, he captured gold for Team USA in a dramatic competition. He added a silver medal at the 2019 World Outdoor Championships, cementing his status among the world's elite jumpers.

Henderson was the USA Outdoor national long jump champion in 2014, 2016, and 2018. His Olympic gold medal represents the pinnacle of American long jumping achievement and continues the nation's proud tradition in horizontal jumping events.
