Winfred Yavi

Winfred Mutile Yavi is a Kenyan-born Bahraini middle-distance runner born on December 31, 1999. She specializes in the 3000 metres steeplechase and is currently the second-fastest woman in history in the event, with a personal best of 8:44.39.

Yavi won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics, setting a new Olympic record in the process and delivering one of the standout performances of the Games.
