Willie Gault is an American former professional football player and sprinter born on September 5, 1960, in Griffin, Georgia. Standing 186 cm and weighing 84 kg, he was a wide receiver in the NFL for eleven seasons with the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Raiders, winning Super Bowl XX with the Bears.

Gault was a member of the U.S. Olympic team that boycotted the 1980 Moscow Olympics, preventing him from competing for a medal. He played college football at the University of Tennessee, leading the Vols in all-purpose yardage for three consecutive years and earning All-American honors in 1982. During his NFL career, he was considered one of the fastest players in league history.

After retiring from football, Gault pursued acting and remained active in masters athletics. He has set world masters records in the 100 and 200 metres for the 45-49, 50-54, and 55-59 age groups, continuing to demonstrate his exceptional speed decades after his professional career.
