Sergey Dymchenko

Serhiy Dymchenko is a retired Ukrainian high jumper born on August 23, 1967. He was one of Ukraine's top high jumpers during the late Soviet and early independence era.

Dymchenko achieved his personal best of 2.37 metres in September 1990 in Kyiv, a world-class mark that placed him among the elite high jumpers of his generation. This jump remains one of the best performances by a Ukrainian athlete in the event.

His career spanned a transformative period for Ukrainian athletics as the country transitioned from Soviet to independent competition. Dymchenko's achievements helped establish Ukraine as a nation capable of producing elite high jumpers.
