Munkhzaya Bayartsogt

Bayartsogtyn Munkhzayaa is a Mongolian long-distance runner born on October 10, 1993. Standing 160 cm tall and weighing 43 kg, she specializes in the marathon and has represented Mongolia at multiple World Championships and Olympic Games.

Munkhzayaa competed in the marathon at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, China, and returned for the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar, where she finished 34th. At the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, she ran a season's best time of 2:37:08 in the women's marathon, finishing 45th.

As Mongolia's premier female marathon runner, Munkhzayaa has represented her country at the sport's biggest events. Her multiple World Championships and Olympic appearances demonstrate her endurance and dedication to representing Mongolian athletics on the global stage.
