Maurice Mitchell

Maurice Mitchell is an American sprinter born on December 22, 1989, in Kansas City, Missouri. He specializes in the 200-metre dash and has achieved personal bests of 20.13 seconds in the 200m, 10.00 seconds in the 100m, and 6.55 seconds in the 60m.

Mitchell had an outstanding collegiate career at Florida State University, winning three NCAA Outdoor Championship titles. He captured the 200-metre crown in both 2011 and 2012, along with a relay title in 2011. He won 13 Atlantic Coast Conference titles and was named ACC Outdoor Performer of the Year three consecutive years.

At the international level, Mitchell represented the United States in the relay at the 2011 World Championships and was selected to compete at the 2012 London Olympics. His dominance at the collegiate level and progression to international competition established him as one of America's premier 200-metre specialists.
