Jack Whitt

Jack Whitt is an American pole vaulter born on April 12, 1990, in Norman, Oklahoma. He represented the United States at the 2013 World Championships in Athletics in Moscow.

Whitt achieved a personal best indoor jump of 5.72 metres in June 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a best outdoor jump of 5.70 metres in May 2013, also in Tulsa. His World Championship qualification demonstrated his standing among America's elite vaulters.

His performances place him among the accomplished American pole vaulters of his generation. The technical demands of pole vaulting, combining sprinting speed with gymnastic ability, require years of dedicated development to reach World Championship level.
