Darrin Plab

Darrin Plab is a retired American high jumper born on September 26, 1970, in Belleville, Illinois. He attended Mascoutah High School and Southern Illinois University Carbondale, developing into one of America's top high jumpers of the early 1990s.

Plab competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, though he did not reach the final in the event. His qualification for the Olympic Games represented the pinnacle of his athletic career and demonstrated his standing among America's elite high jumpers.

His personal best of 2.35 metres, achieved in June 1992 in New Orleans, places him among the accomplished American high jumpers of his generation. The combination of Olympic experience and world-class clearances reflects Plab's dedication to mastering the technically demanding vertical event.
