Dalilah Muhammad, born on 7 February 1990 in New York City, United States, is a retired American 400 metres hurdler. She became the 2016 Rio Olympics champion and later won silver at the 2020 Tokyo Games, where she ran a personal best of 51.58 seconds. Muhammad was only the second woman in history, after Sally Gunnell, to win both the Olympic and World titles and break the world record in the 400 m hurdles.

Muhammad earned silver medals at the 2013 and 2017 World Championships before capturing gold at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, where she set a world record of 52.16 seconds. She also won gold in the 4 x 400 m relay at both the 2019 Worlds and the Tokyo Olympics. A three-time American national champion and two-time Diamond League winner, she began her international career by winning the 400 m hurdles at the 2007 World Youth Championships.

Collegiately, Muhammad ran for the USC Trojans, earning four-time All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
