Brian Mondschein is an American-born Israeli pole vaulter born on January 9, 1983. He competed for the Virginia Tech Hokies, finishing second in the pole vault at the 2005 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Mondschein represented Israel internationally, competing at the 2010 European Championships though he did not reach the final. His personal bests are 5.63 metres indoors, achieved in May 2009 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and 5.60 metres outdoors, set in July 2009 in Champaign, Illinois.

Athletic talent runs in the Mondschein family. His grandfather Irving Mondschein won three USA Outdoor Championships in the decathlon, and his uncle Brian was an All-American decathlete at the University of Washington in 1977 who later became a track coach. This family legacy helped shape Brian's development as a pole vaulter.
