Bashir Ramzy

Bashir Ramzy is an American track and field athlete born on May 4, 1979. He competes in both the long jump and 110 metre hurdles, demonstrating versatility across multiple events.

Ramzy won the bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games and competed at the 2006 World Indoor Championships, though he did not reach the final. His personal best in the long jump is 8.18 metres, achieved in April 2009 in Chula Vista.

He was inducted into the Texas A&M Hall of Fame on September 19, 2009, recognizing his contributions to the program. Ramzy currently coaches at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Center, sharing his expertise with the next generation of American athletes.
