Ignacio Sarmiento is a Spain sprinter, born on December 28, 1986. He competes primarily in the 400m, 400mH and 4x400m.

His personal bests include 48.30 in the 400m, 50.57 in the 400mH, 3:10.51 in the 4x400m, 3:29.65 in the 4x400Metre and 48.48 in the 400MetresS. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Spain.
